I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am experiencing on my Nokia G20 (model number: 1336) after flashing it using the MTK Client. Since the flashing process, I am encountering a problem where, upon inserting a SIM card, the phone displays a “SIM Not Supported” message.

Details of the Issue:
•    Device: Nokia G20 (model 1336)
•    Issue: “SIM Not Supported” message after flashing
•    Software used for flashing: MTK Client

I would appreciate your guidance on any possible troubleshooting steps or solutions to resolve this problem. If additional information, such as the software version or any specific logs, is required, please let me know, and I will provide them.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance on restoring full functionality to my device.

Which version and region of firmware did you Flash? Do you recall the previous firmware on the phone before Flash?

Hey justshez, thanks for replying. I actually just solved the problem by just flashing the nvram on sp tool. Now I am facing with another problem which is that it still won’t have connection to the cell tower it says radio off. I have entered the secret code *#*#4636#*#* and tried to turn on the radio but it turns back off. I have downloaded the firmware “Nokia_G20_TA- 1336_MT6765_HMD_Global_00WW_11_00WW _1_100_SP01_RP1A.200720_11.zip”

Try switching to 2G or 3G

Do you have WCDMA only?

No I have all the options available, but they are so many I don’t know which one’s right for my own region. I live in Europe, Greece more specifically if that’s make a difference

Choose WCDMA only or 3g only
