it's works fine on my android 10 device:

I unlocked android 10 device, and sign system.img vbmeta.img vbmeta_system.img with .pem file.

I flashed system.img vbmeta.img vbmeta_system.img and relock oem, the device works fine.

With above method, my another android 12 device, bootloop after relock (work fine if not relock ome lock).

I find different between 10 and 12:

super.img in android 10:

only have system.img and product.img

super.img in android 12:

You shouldn't be relocking bootloader after modifying the OS. Some models signed their partitions using the generic .pem key and that's why they still work fine after relock. Some models might use the generic .pem key for bootloader unlock but use different keys to sign partitions. This is why they brick when you relock.
