This guide will explain how to factory reset Google Pixel devices. A Factory reset wipes all user data on the device.
Option 1: Reset Through Settings
Back up your phone's data.
Go to your phone's Settings.
Find and select System, then Reset options.
Choose "Erase all data (factory reset)".
Confirm by selecting Erase all data again.
Enter your phone's security code if needed.
Wait till the process is done and you're at the setup wizard.
Option 2: Reset Using Recovery Mode
Power off your phone.
To enter recovery mode, hold down the power and volume down keys at the same time. Once the phone shows the bootloader screen, use the volume keys to select the “Recovery Mode”
Press the Power button to enter.
When an image of an Android robot appears, Press and hold the power button and quickly press the volume up button once.
Navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset," using the volume buttons. Press the Power button to select
Wait for the reset process to complete
Select "Reboot system now"
Important Notice
Backup your data before resetting because it will be cleared.
Remove your Google account from the device to avoid activation lock / Factory Reset Protection (FRP) issues after the reset.
