Hello, after some new updates I've been having some visual UI problems of some staying on screen after it being closed and some not even opening (such as control center/notification shade).

this is really disrupting my experience and I want to try to downgrade to an older version to see if the bug goes away. My phone also has this "local update" feature which I assume allows updating from a ZIP?? although I don't really trust it (yet)..

I also have a lot of data that I need on my phone that I can't back up anywhere else because my 128gb flash drive is dead.. any way to downgrade without losing data?? I will appreciate it if you are able to provide me with a response (:

Yes, its possible to downgrade without losing data. You'll just need a lower version like @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-45349.html and flash only boot and super.img in research download tool ( https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-28774.html )for a start.
Regardless, you best somehow backup your data because things can always go sideways.
Any data you can't afford to lose is already lost without a backup.
