This guide will explain how to boot Google Pixel devices into recovery mode.

How to Boot Google Pixel Devices  into Recovery Mode (ADB and Button Methods)



Method 1: Using ADB (Android Debug Bridge)



Requirements



Steps:

  1. Connect the Google Pixel device to the PC via the USB cable
  2. Open a command prompt and navigate to the ADB folder
  3. Enter the following commands: 

    Code:

    adb devices

    Ensure your device is listed, then enter:

    Code:

    adb reboot recovery

  4. The device will reboot into recovery mode

Method 2: Using Hardware Buttons



Steps:

  1. Power off your Google Pixel completely.
  2. Hold the Volume Decrease and the Power buttons (don't release).
  3. Keep holding until you see the bootloader screen (it shows a large arrow and system information).

  4. Use the volume keys to change the menu to Recovery mode
  5. Press the Power button to select and enter Recovery mode.
  6. You should see an Android robot with an exclamation mark.
  7. Briefly press the Power button and the Volume Up button together.
  8. The recovery menu will appear.

To exit Recovery mode:


Use the volume keys to change the menu to "Reboot system now" and press the Power button to select it.


Important Notes:
  • In Recovery mode, you can perform various operations like wiping the cache, factory resetting, or applying updates.
  • Be cautious when using Recovery mode, as some actions can erase your data.
  • If you're unsure about any option, it's best to exit Recovery mode without making changes.
