hi, im a LG K61 user from argentina, i have this phone by 3 years and i already hardbricked and recycled by replacing the board.

this device comes with fastboot disabled.
when you pres vol- and pwr buttons, it shows you a menu that ask you to delete all userdata. no recovery at all.
the only way to flash a GSI, beacuse yes, it is compatible with treble project, is via MTK client, but if you upgrade your phone to december 2021 or stock android 11 it looses the brom conection, so you only can have android 11 rooted only through patching after OTA update.
recently, i descover that if you use adb reboot sideload, when the sideload times out, a standard and well knowed recovery appears, but the reboot bootloader only reboots to system.

i tryed many GSIs and it has the problem that when you use any android 12, 13 or 14, it wont let you set any kind of PIN, pattern or password to lock screen, but it works like charm in crdroid 7.10 (higher versions doesnt boot). the suggested workarround doestn work.

so i make the device tree for twrp and started to try to compile it, but more and more problems appears.
this is an A/B partitioned device, so no recovery partition, and has no dynamic partitions.
when i flashed first try of twrp, i found the obstacle that i cant do a live boot from fastboot, so i had to flash the boot partition via mtkclient. the twrp boots, but you cant enter system unless you flash a stock (or rooted) boot.img again, and if you boot it via combo button, you has no touch working.
decryption in this device is another problem, besides it is not absolutely necessary.

i tryed to patch the LK.img in order to enable fastboot, but looks like it wont work because of SBC security. (since then, my device doesnt enter download mode, even when i reflashed the stock lk.img)

i tryed the tool to create twrp of this site, but didnt work.

so, if some likes the challenges, i need some guidance, i dont want that someone else do the job, but i really need a step by step help because of specific and particular difficulties this device has.

im building by myself, i tryed the hovatek twrpbuilder, it booted, but it was useless. im trying now with a kernel builded from source which i enable the touch drivers in recovery mode. the kernel source is from android 11 (i couldnt find android 10 kernel source), and i build twrp with that kernel in a android 10 device tree... it didnt boot. i will try with the android 11 device tree. but i dont know if it will boot since the rest of the devices has the android 10 stock stuff.
(with stock 11 we loose brom mode conection).
