I have a custom carrier provided ROM that doesn't allow me to see/view the Mi Unlock Status at all, OEM is enabled, tried a lot of things, the bootloader is locked. (Which is why I wanted to flash it) Not sure what to do, and BROM either isn't working or I don't have a clue, I tried all combinations, they either lead into fastboot/No Connection on Recovery mode, and the all buttons + power only works and then crashes pretty much instantly using mtk, sp flash tool also not working, also tried softwaredownload, and the custom generic DA isn't working, I installed the mtk drivers from the auto installer.
Geniunely don't have a clue on what to do, it's a relatively new device so there's literally 0 info about it online.
Go to about phone and tap on OS version 7 times to enable developer mode and come back and open additional settings and u will see developer mode u will see your mi unlock status
