i have tried with the latest android 12 ROM (here nothing happens, not even the logo comes up)
i have tried with sp flash tool, transsion software download, mtkclient, miracle thunder and MTK_Client_Tool_V5.5_NUSANTARA (which doesnt load anyway on my win10)
i have tried DOWNLOAD only, format + download.
Dont know whats left to try
(26-03-2024, 02:31 PM)saberinsky yes I tried with CG6-H696UVW-R-OP-210803V599 but its the same bootloop.
Also tried unlocking bootloader but it fails. Tried all these commands "fastboot flashing unlock" and "fastboot oem unlock". Device is recognized but unlock fails, i think its because the developer options wasnt enabled before.
(04-04-2024, 03:03 PM)saberinsky I did unlock it both with fastboot (got orange state) and flashed ROM with spflashtool using mtk bypass to overcome the DA issue, but still got bootloop. Then I locked it and flashed it again. No change.
I then unlocked it with mtkclient gui which gave me "dm verity corruption. your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted" i flashed with spflash. it gives the tecno logo, the above error msg and goes off
I have tried using aftersales tool but version v4.1901.23.17 gives me DA connection error DA invalid even after first running bypass succesfully. I have tried with both methods, the mtk tool and the python command line.
Version V5.2108.02.9 doesnt run at all, gives lge0001 error server name could not be resolved.
(05-04-2024, 12:50 AM)saberinsky i did that. flashed vbmeta ok, deleted metadata, userdata and md_udc in mtk client ok. mtkclient has no option for erase cache right? And neither does the recovery menu. I can only do factory reset which I did.
the first time i ran factory reset I got "libfs_mgr failed to mount"
second time it wiped data
On the the first boot it gave "dm verity corruption msg" and went into fastboot mode. Then rebooted itself, gave me the logo and the dm verity and goes off.
