[Tweak] safest way to update magisk v22.1 on S20

This device was rooted back in the day, haven't touched that since. got a few apps that were bringing notifications that my device was rooted, magisk hide wasn't effective, so I thought I should update the magisk manager to latest version, v27. Problem is, now Magisk Hide isn't available and the installed magisk is 22.1, probably too old. what's the best way to update magisk, without issues and most importantly, not loosing data? I totally understand that this is a very old version and I might have to do it in steps, like 22-> 24, 24-> 26 etc... thank you in advance for your assistance!
