I just got this device and it's on Android 7.1.1 Nougat

I've tried many apks to root it to no avail; kingroot (different versions), Kingoroot (different versions), cf auto root, etc
Now I want to use the Magisk root but I'm having issues with SPFT (version 5.1744 & 5.8216 latest)

I have WWR 2.30 & 2.51 as well. USB VCOM DRIVERS are properly installed on my device as well. I have Auto TWRP porter ready too in case I get d stock files

But I keep getting error. I have attached all the info. Pls help me to dump the firmware b4 rooting, I don't want to brick it without backup plan

I have switched my cables as well, I 3 different types and all works fine for transfer.

What's the way out boss? @paeffiong, @innagee

Quick update

I have tried to use mtk bypass and SPFT
I successfully setup the environment and disabled the protection
But SP flash tool was giving me issues

The first error was
Error 0xC0030004

Message: ERROR: STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID 0xC00300

But I applied the error solutions by editing the region name to lower case in scatter.txt gotten from WWR

And also applied the advanced mode ctrl+alt+v

Now I'm getting something like UNSUPPORT...CMD

So I tried another tool to disable protection (MTK AUTH BYPASS)
and it works easily with using bypass tool
My point here is the tool helped me to read the preloader as well and I have it in.bin

Now coming to mtk client....
1st issue is that I don't have setup.py in my mtk client folder
2nd, I did the pip install requirements and successfully completed but python commands are giving error

So I searched different forum for how to get it, but didn't see any solution
Python is installed normally in my PC but not working in the mtk client environment

I was hoping I can use the preloader with SPFT for scatter region readback but SPFT is not working so far with anything I do on it despite the protection being disabled. I will send screenshots later

So I need help to setup Py within mtk client environment
