Bootloader Unlock for HUAWEI Y5p Y6p HONOR 9s

What you need
  • Windows or Linux PC
  • Knowledge about Using Commands in linux or windows
  • Knowledge about removing back cover and using testpoints
  • MTK Clinet
  • Brain

How to Unlock bootloader
  • Setup MTK Clinet
  • Boot in BootRom mode and connect to MTK Client (use test points or possible method)
  • Flash given LK via MTK Client
  • Execute in cmd python mtk w lk path_to_unlocked_lk.img
  • Reboot and check

What you can do after unlock
  • Use fastboot and fastbootd
  • Root with magisk
  • Boot GSIs
  • Tested on Huawei Y5p

Please note that before flashing lk,
execute
python mtk da seccfg unlock
