I'm experiencing an issue with my Oppo F5 cph1723 smartphone. Initially, one of its apps crashed, and I attempted to find a solution online. In my efforts, I upgraded the firmware version, but now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. I've tried using various tools such as the SP Flash Tool and MTC Tool, but none of them have been successful. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Which method did you use to upgrade the firmware?

I downloaded it on SD card, then booted the phone to recovery mode and choose install from storage>SD card. It was successfully installed, but it was in boot loop when I rebooted.

Try to do a factory reset in recovery mode. If that fails then flash the latest firmware.
1. Convet OFP to scatter https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-45183.html
2. Flash with mtkclient and sp flash tool https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-46342.html
