Softbricked Unisoc T310 Tablet?
Softbricked Unisoc T310 Tablet?
(05-08-2023, 12:21 AM)oneofmanyacdcfans Hello,
I have a Whoop Connect Tab8-US2. It has a Unisoc T310 chipset and PowerVR GE8300 graphics. The screen is 8", resolution 1200x720, 3GB Ram. This device is completely identical to the Blackview Tab 6 / Tab 6 Kids. It came with Android 11 preinstalled.
I have soft-bricked the device by flashing a magisk-patched boot image to boot_a. There is no specific recovery partition on the device, only boot_a and boot_b as well as a plethora of other _a and _b partitions. Prior to softbricking the device, I had unlocked the bootloader by following the instructions on this forum. I then successfully flashed a custom GSI rom, but I pushed my luck a little too far by messing with the bootloader.
The device is now rebooting constantly; it shows the Whoop screen for a few seconds, vibrates and reboots. I have been able to get it into DIAG mode using CM2SP2-helper.exe, however none of the other CM2SP* tools are working for me because I do not have their dongle. None of the other softwares from Inifinity Box will even load up. I cannot use CM2SP2-helper to Wipe; it asks for a username and password.
The device shows up in device manager as SPRD DIAG (COM 7) and it is in a powered-off state. I have a backup copy of the boot partition that I took before I flashed the magisk patched one. Can anyone tell me how to use DIAG mode to flash the backup boot image to the device? If that is not possible, what else can I do to get it running again?
(14-08-2023, 07:27 PM)oneofmanyacdcfans Using the factory download tool I was able to send the PAC file for the Blackview Tab 6 Kids. Once it was done flashing, Windows will recognize the device as a Blackview Tab 6 Kids, but it doesn't show any folders on the device. Also, it will not boot. In the properties dialogue box, Windows says the power level is at Zero Percent, plugged in. I am assuming there are no folders showing because it was never able to boot up after the flash due to the low power level. When this originally happened, the device kept rebooting and I didn't know what to do at first, so I just let it run its course until it was dead from trying to reboot. I think it will eventually work again, but I am concerned because I have left it on the charger for hours already and it still reads zero power in Windows. Can you offer any advice on how to get the battery back to operational levels or have I fried it by letting it go completely dead?
