[Please help] LG Aristo 2 | "your device has failed a routine safety check"
(10-04-2023, 03:51 AM)Neon1231 Started up my LG Aristo 2 after 3 months of not using it. I was greeted with the "your device has failed a routine safety check". I tried to do a factory reset but I am greeted with that message again. Phone continually boot loops afterwards without any functionality. I can only shut it down by taking out the battery.
Did a little bit of research and I've went ahead and downloaded the LGUP tool + the USB driver and firmware. However, I tried connecting it but it wasn't able to find any devices. Restarted my LG phone and now I can no longer get into the download mode by connecting the USB and holding the volume up key. Phone just brings my to the charge % and then instantly flags me with the safety check error.
What should I do? Is there an alternative to going into boot mode or am I doing something wrong.

Upload a screenshot of the error

What is the current battery %?
(17-04-2023, 06:20 PM)Neon1231 I have it charged to around 60%. I've gotten download mode to work sometimes (it lets me access it once every 2 or so days) now by switching out the charging cable. However, my device isn't recognized by the LGUP program even after installing the USB driver.

You probably didn't install the DLL
See https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-38357.html
(21-04-2023, 07:11 PM)Neon1231 I was using the LG common DLL and that one didn't work. I've went ahead and started using the DLL from the KDZ to DLL tool posted by cxz (ref = https://forum.xda-developers.com/posts/79225733). No idea if this is relevant, but the mobile driver version I am using is v 4.8.
Getting into download mode is frankly almost impossible now. It takes me ~200-300 attempts of continuously removing the battery, and then trying to start up the phone again by plugging it into the usb port. Is there a more efficient way to boot into download mode? It keeps showing the failed security check screen or just boot loops until I take the battery out or it eventually dies.
As of right now I am not able to boot it into download mode at all.
