Signed Firmware not working
(09-03-2023, 02:09 PM)evildao I bricked my Tecno camon 15 cd7 then I decided to flash the firmware back
As usual I downloaded the ROM from hovatek but I was getting errors

Apparently they didn't manage to get their problem fixed except going to carlcare
How I started
I flashed a custom ROM bit on trying to get back to stock ROM on spflashtool it got stuck on ik.img,trans.img and two others
I also used aftersales tool, it got stuck on SEC IMG type mismatch
I also tried mtk bypass but it didn't help much
Later I unticked the problem files on spflashtool and the rest flashed successfully on booting up my device is writing
Dm verity corrupted
This is also the screenshot of my wifi scan that gives nvram error
Please did I make any mistakes in flashing so I can correct it

Do you remember your build number before you flashed the GSI? What is the build number of the firmware you tried to flash?

What I did now was to flash super IMG separately
After booting it I unlocked bootloader and flashed empty vbmeta
It works although I have to stick with the orange state warning (locking bootloader results in red state)
Now the only error i get is
nvram error 0x10
The error is present when in WiFi menu
