RMX3241 Realme 8 5G MT6833 bricked

Hi guys,

stumbled upon this forum and saw many things can be solved with your help. I'm trying to fix my friend's bricked phone using mtk client. Phone is RMX3241, known as Realme 8 5G, based on MT6833.

I did everything according to this tutorial:

First of all thank you hovatek for this great and clean tutorial.

My problem is after typing for example:

All I got is:

Second thing is, what commands in mtk client should I use to recover this phone. It's completely dead, not booting, not showing any sign of life. However, I've found BROM connection seemed to work in other utilities. Unfortunately I always get stuck in some weird moment and can't get through it. I have all the rom files required to flash, but I can't connect to the phone at all. I have SP flash client ready, but it doesn't show any COM connection.

Try this command

py -3 mtk r boot boot.bin --preloader=preloader.bin

Where preloader.bin is the file name of preloader from your firmware which must be copied into the MTK client folder

Thank you. I managed to fix that part by the time you replied.

But now I'm struggling with no fastboot. Someone probably tried to unlock the bootloader and did it not correctly.
What I see when I'm starting the phone is:
"dm-verity corruption"
And the phone will shutdown within 5 seconds, unless I press power.

When I press power, it says :Orange state".

It boots, but unfortunately someone flashed Indian carrier which doesn't work in Europe. And the result of that is no signal on the phone.

When I try to use fastboot (vol- and power button) it says "the serial is not match" and it quickly dissapears and shuts down.
How can I fix fastboot? I flashed vbmeta.img but it didn't work. I also flashed the whole ofp (unpacked it first) via sp_flash tool but also, I have the same result. There's no fastboot and dm-verity warning is still there.

I would like to flash global/European ROM, but to do that I need fastboot.

Unless there's some other solution.

can you please tell how you could manage to repair the device from Brom mode?

Follow this guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-45183.html to convert from OFP to scatter format. You can then flash with MTK Client in BROM mode
