I use Infinix Hot 10T x689c, I flashed Dot Os 3.2 android 11 custom ROM GSI using fastboot, and have beenĀ using it as my daily driver. But I have no custom recovery, I found out that my phone has no recovery partition, it only has boot.img. Can anyone help port TWRP to my phone? Please.
For real!! Wow thanks a lot. Hope it won't brick my phone if I flash directly.
I've had the experience of flashing a wrong boot IMG, rendered my phone useless for 3 days. Also , is there anything I should do when I first boot into TWRP?
I did flash the boot IMG file you provided
It did boot into TWRP , but the touchscreen did not work
It also didn't allow my phone to boot to system, it'll stay on the TWRP HOMESCREEN with nothing working for a minute, then it'll sleep. Pressing the power button won't wake it , but plugging in a charger did , until it didn't. If I long Press the pwr button, it show the Infinix logo, then it'll turn off for 32 seconds then display TWRP logo. All over again.
I'm typing this with the same phone, I flashed back my stock boot IMG via flash tool.
I appreciate your efforts, it brought nostalgia seeing the TWRP logo on my screen again,( had it on my tecno ka7, did alot of things on that phone).
Is there anyway to fix the above situation? Thank you once again.
Pls do the following or else it would not work
1:copy vbmeta, the stock boot, this recovery, to your platform tools alongside
2:adb reboot bootloader
3: fastboot flash boot recovery.img
Fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
Fastboot boot recovery.img (u will get an error ,pls ignore it as soon as the device turned off hold down volume up till it takes u to twrp page
4: connect the device to PC and do
adb push boot.img /sdcard
adb push recovery.img /sdcard
5 connect OTG if touch not working
And flash stock boot into boot partition
And back to twrp main page and select advance, then install recovery ramdisk and select the recovery image and allow it to finnish.then reboot
To recovery before booting to system
