unable to restore QCN file and fix IMEI blank

on Hisense A5, I am not able to restore/repair lost QCN / IMEI.

Infact, it shows a blank IMEI. I do have a vanilla QCN Hisense A5, from another phone I have, and I am trying to write the original IMEI of the Hisense A5 which shows a blank IMEI error. After writing, I flash in QFIL to restore QCN file. After flashing, IMEI still blank on About Phone, and *#06#.

Why is it not restoring it?

How did you end up with invalid IMEI? Is Baseband valid or unknown?
