I've been on the lookout for a TWRP recovery for my device for a long time but never found one , so I found the the Hovatek Porter tool and decided to try it out and create a recovery using it and used the appropriate version of the porter for my device (My device is on android 9 so I used version 1.8a version of the porter as per the instructions) and flashed it , but the TWRP doesn't actually open and instead the original recovery always open up , the phone still boots but the TWRP just doesn't open even when using fastboot boot recovery.img . and yes I made sure of using the correct recovery tried creating multiple times , flashed empty vbmeta before flashing recovery and used --disable-verity and --disable-verification and tried this multiple times but always ended up unsuccessful , it's like the TWRP porter doesn't actually install TWRP on the recovery.img and just renames it or something because all my efforts are in vain . So can someone either port it for me or give me a download for it ? Because porting it myself just doesn't work .
Download that image and unpack it using PC ,and also unpack your stock recovery
And replace twrp split-img with your the one from your stock split-img
And also replace prop.default, default.prop,invent.rc,twrp/recovery.fstab, with the one found from your stock recovery and repack and flash
