(14-06-2022, 10:16 PM)4qx Got it. What now?

Have you flashed the downloaded firmware?

I downloaded the only SO-02K firmware that was available from Xperifirm (47.2.B.5.38-R11C), removed simlock.ta and flashed it with newflasher. Was that the firmware you had in mind (there are other firmware versions here)?

If it is, please communicate what the next steps are to write in the IMEI.

Is baseband known or unknown?

Since you've created multiple threads on the same issue, we need to factor in your thread history to rule out some variables.
From your response above, your phone is on the same base band after using XperFirm firmware so its safe to assume you're running on a factory firmware though we can't say about your modem.
Since you can enter Diag, lets see how far generic Qualcomm approaches can go
Try the tool @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide...s.4427589/

I have created a second thread, though I don't know why you'd bring it up since nobody has read it, the baseband is specified in it.

As written on xda and mentioned in the first post here, generic approachesĀ found on the web yield nothing, that's why I need professional help. I tried QPST, QFIL, EFS' NVTools, Miracle PowerTool, WriteIMEI, Qualcomm Smartphone Write IMEI, Qmsl IMEI Tool, Octoplus, Chimera and Chamelephon.

SETool and Infinity AST are about the only ones to mention some kind of support for this model but no clear indication of IMEI repair support.
So far you're running on the right for your variant, TWRP might be worth trying if you have backups from before IMEI was lost or another working phone of same model (might or might not work)
