Will pay $ for help with Sony Xperia IMEI issue
(07-06-2022, 07:50 PM)4qx I've wasted too much time and effort trying to fix IMEI on my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. Having already spent $30 unlocking its bootloader, another $20 won't be so unreasonable to get this troublemaker to work.
So here's the deal: provide me with a free, working way to fix the IMEI on my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and I'll PayPal you $20. It's possible on a lot of models, including ones with the same chipset, has to be possible for XZ1c too. Maybe you already know how: easy scratch for you, just explain it to me. The xda post here details what I've tried so far.
Chat me up or pm if interested, I'm appreciative and responsive.
(09-06-2022, 08:24 AM)hovatek Which is yours (originally)? G8341, G8342, F8341, F8342, G8343, SOV36, SO-01K
and which firmware is it currently running on?
(09-06-2022, 08:38 PM)4qx It's SO-02k running 47.2.B.5.38
I can flash other firmware if necessary, but the problem I encountered is that none of the 4 other (2 stock, 2 custom) ROMs I tried would enable diag mode on this command:
setprop persist.sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
(11-06-2022, 09:46 AM)hovatek You first need to flash a factory firmware for your original variant
(11-06-2022, 11:08 AM)4qxyou can download the factory firmware using XperiFirm @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-40971.html(11-06-2022, 09:46 AM)hovatek You first need to flash a factory firmware for your original variant
I thought 47.2.B.5.38 is factory firmware? It's the latest stock firmware for SO-02k which I got from https://ftf.andro.plus
If not, which is the factory firmware? And what do I do after flashing it?
