should i flash preloader also or leave it?

i want to flash gionee v4s smartphone with android 4.4.2 to android 5.0.
my device is currently on stock rom(android 4.4.2) and many users on internet claim that the manufacturer(gionee) has released android 5.0(stock) rom for gionee v4s which is not available through OTA but user has to visit service centre to get this update. this rom is available online(on hovatek also) now to flash using sp flash tool. 

1) should i flash this rom?
2) should i flash preloader?
3) in scatter file of firmware physical start address of every partition index is 0x0. is it okay?
   (in current firmware it is same as linear_start_addr)

First back up current firmware using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html
Then flash the 5.0 firmware including the preloader with sp flashtool

I have backed up old firmware using miracle box and tried to flash new firmware(5.0) using download only in sp flash tool but error occurred saying- PMT changed for rom; it must be downloaded. please select "format all+download" scene and try again.

suggest me what to do next.

Use firmware upgrade then

That worked and now my device is on android 5.0 stock.

now i want to remove some useless google apps like google play music, google play books etc. and some bloatwares completely. please guide me.
