(05-04-2022, 12:25 PM)Abdulakeem14 What's your device firmware build no?

Tecno Lc8 - H6215ABCD-GL.
Android Q

By the way, every other thing flashes well, just the "super.img" (which I believe is the system.img) that's the problem. If I untick it, the flashing will complete but the device still remains in red state, saying its corrupted. But if I tick it, sp flash tool says its TOO LARGE. Downloaded file from hovatek here and it's same build number with the device.

use the format+download option in sp flashtool

Thought about this too but afraid if the phone wont end up dead should the flashing process still gets interrupted at the super.img.
Okay will try and give feedback

(08-04-2022, 12:47 PM)erhiskobi Was flashing the device then when it got to the super.img partition, SP Flash Tool says its TOO LARGE then the flashing failed and when the device boots up, it shows red state. And ive not been able to get past that TOO LARGE error

Ensure you're flashing the right build.
You could try a firmware upgrade but do a full dump first just in case you need it

Extract your super.img using image extracting tools to get your system.img,vendor.img and product.copy both vendor and system to your install platform tools folder and boot your phone into fastboot mode and run the following command

fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img

Fastboot reboot fastboot ( pls make sure u open your device manager to update the android driver that appears to android bootloader)
And run the following
fastboot devices
fastboot getvar is-userspace
fastboot erase system
Fastboot erase vendor
fastboot delete-logical-partition product
fastboot flash system system.img
Fastboot flash vendor vendor.img

And reboot to recovery mode using phone keys only

And factory reset and reboot to system

Pls bear it in mind that u have to unlock your boot loader before u can perform any
Even if you are having a bootloop

Unless your battery is flat, chances are that the firmware isn't the right one for your build or the emmc is bad
