(31-01-2022, 11:25 PM)Gargoyle adb reboot-bootloader  after fastboot reboot-fastboot or from recovery to fastbootd

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

I cant flash recovery, because its an A/B dynamic partition and does not have a recovery partition. only boot partition.

reason for using fastboot boot twrp.img was to boot twrp then use install to ramdisk feature from with in twrp to patch the boot.img

fastboot flash boot_b twrp.img

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Nope.

you shouldn't be advising anyone do do that,
because if you flash your boot.img with a recovery.img you gonna kill your phone/tablet. so i aint doing that

Wanted to boot into a twrp recovery partition you don't have, how else to do it?
You have to rewrite the boot, if you don't know what you're doing, just don't do it.
Recovery is in stock boot, flash back boot_a + boot_b

the command fastboot boot twrp.img should allow to boot the recovery.img because thats how it suppose to work with A/B dynamic partition. If you not 110% sure its gonna work do not tell ppl to flash recovery.img to their boot.img partition you gonna ruin someones device and you wont be able to recover from.

on android 11 you temporarily boot into twrp recovery.img image using the command so that you can use install to ramdisk option and patch the boot.img. problem is the unisoc cant seem to boot images temporarily and by the looks of it enither can mediatek devices. thats what im trying to explain.

if you flash recovery twrp.img to your boot.img partition you will not boot up
