This guide will explain how to bypass Factory Reset Protection on a Samsung Android device using its combination firmware / file. The principle is just to get into a Factory Binary from which you can make the desired changes.
Requirements
- Search for a combination firmware for your model
- Know how to use Odin to flash Samsung firmware
- Factory Firmware for your model. Ensure to choose the right firmware for your Samsung model
Steps to bypass FRP on Samsung using combination file / firmware
Follow the steps below to use a combination file to bypass FRP on Samsung devices
- Load the combination file to AP in Odin (no additional settings) and flash to the phone. Disconnect and power up the phone once done
- The phone should boot into Factory Binary
- You should now be in the home screen
- From the home screen slide down (from the top of the screen). Tap the Settings icon
- Scroll down to About and tap it
- Keep tapping Build Number till you see "You are now a Developer"
- Go back to Settings, you should now see Developer options
- Tap Developer options and turn on both USB Debugging and OEM unlocking
- Power off the device and boot into Download Mode
- Flash the factory firmware for your model and boot up.
