I'm trying to flash dot os gsi 5.2 on infinix note 5 on android 10. Infinix note 5 x604 has no vbmeta partition.
I'm using these commands with unlocked bootloader & usb debugging on.I'm flashing only in one slot i.e, either a or b. I'm using bugjager application for flashing.

1. fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification boot_[a/b] boot.img (stock boot img of android 10 for infinix note 5)
/* To disable the dm- verity check/ android verified boot(AVB) */[ as mentioned here -https://doc.e.foundation/support-topics/install-GSI ]
2. fastboot flash system_[a/b] system.img
/* Flash compatible gsi */
3. go to stock recovery then wipe data/ factory reset.
/* Erase Userdata */
4. reboot now

But first boot is going on & on & on.( I've waited max of 20-25 mins.)
I've tried with phh gsi, dot os gsi, Lineage os gsi but same for every gsi. Also tried with magisk boot patch but first boot going on & on. Can anyone help me ?

Try flashing the GSI in fastbootd
Is the phone rooted? If not, root first

Flashing the GSI is pretty straightforward

Reboot to fastbootd
Type this commands

fastboot erase system (optional)
fastboot delete-logical-partition product (only if adb tells that the partition size is small)
fastboot flash -S 100M system <GSI image file>

Reboot to recovery
Format Userdata
Reboot

I recommend dotOS. It won't give you bootloop and should work fine if you do what I said
