I get this error, I'm assuming it's because the private key is invalid? Does anybody have this key for my device? Is there any other way to root this phone? or it's not possible?

I think my problem is that what i saw in other post off original thread where dd wasn't writing, but I changed permissions still isn't writing to signature.bin, hmm?

Its unlikely to have been signed using generic keys

Hi, is there a way to confirm the signature.bin file was created properly so I know that's not the issue?

Is there any way to root this device at all? I've been trying for days

Question, do all phones made using soC of UNISOC SC9863A use the same signing key? or can different signing keys be used on the same soC?

I'm asking, so I know what to search for in google, to see is it possible if someone roots a different brand of phone or model of ZTE that happens to be using UNISOC SC9863A that their method, tools, or firmware will work on my phone?

No, each brand determines the keys they use. Some didn't change the default keys; those are the ones the generic / default keys work for. I doubt ZTE would've been that lazy or forgetful; hence they likely would have change to their own custom keys

If it failed despite following the guide then it would seem (as I expect) that they used different keys
