Hoping for some guidance on how to correct an issue I'm up against. I have an M40 (N9H1) which, after a firmware flash, started displaying as shown in the attachment. I've re-flashed back to the stock M40(N9H1)_Android 10.0_EEA_V1.00_SZ file from Teclast which has not helped.

While the device is not detected with ADB tools, updating with the SPD Flash tools appear to complete correctly and when I attach the device to my PC it displays M40_EEA in the folder listing. So I'm guessing the system is functional other than the display issue. My first guess would be a resolution or refresh setting but how to resolve that in a firmware update?

I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

is your device (N9H1)_EEA or (N9H1)_ROW? you might want to consider trying a firmware from (N9H1)_ROW if you haven't done so already
if you have tried both an issue still persists then consider replacing the screen

Thanks for mentioning that. I had neglected to add I had tried both EEA and ROW. When I load ROW firmware, I get no display at all.

The original reason for my upgrading firmware was to try and correct touchscreen issues (rows not responding), before I read it was a hardware problem. I do have a replacement screen so I'll proceed with that route and hope that resolves the problem.

I appreciate the feedback. I'll check back in after the replacement to advise if that resolved the problem.
