Can you patch some other device's boot.img with another device, then flash it with SP Flash tool? The phone I'm using doesn't allow installing Apk files, and thus can't patch boot.img on it with Magisk Manager. I will patch it on AVD Manager virtual device (Armv8a 64bit, same as target device, but only A/B partition value is different), then flash it on the other phone with SP Flash tool.

you can but patching boot is only half the process because you still need magisk app to grant su permissions

I was thinking of pushing the Magisk Manager's Apk file forcefully to the system or data partition after I'm done with all dm-verity and AVB issues. There is only one way to find out it seems.

Thank you for your comment nonetheless.
