This guide will explain how to flash firmware to a Motorola Android device using the Hydra Tool Main Module.

Follow the steps below to flash firmware to a Motorola Android device using the Hydra tool main module

  1. Launch the Hydra main module

  2. Click Motorola at the top

  3. Click the Flashing tab

  4. Click the browse button

  5. Select the flashfile.xml from your firmware and click Open

  6. Untick any partition you don't intend to flash

  7. Tick / untick the "auto reboot" and "skip security partition" options as you prefer

  8. Boot the device into fastboot and click Start Flash

  9. Once flashing is done, you should see Flashing Completed. You can disconnect your device

Important notice
So far you're flashing a factory-signed firmware for your model, you can flash even on a locked bootloader

Quote:In this video tutorial, I'll be explaining how to flash firmware to a Motorola Android device using Hydra dongle or Hydra Tool Main Module. First, you need to have setup your Hydra dongle, you need to have setup your ADB, fastboot I'll link to guides on these and you need to have the firmware which you intend to flash. Once you have these in place, you launch the main module. Now, in the main module, you go to Motorola, and then you change the tab to flashing, you select the model, the firmware for the model you intend to flash, that's the flashfile.xml, and you click open.

Now you can tick or untick any partition you intend to flash. I'll just tick all to flash everything and then you can change the flash options. I'll untick skip security partition so its going to flash everything. Now, you boot the device into fastboot, and connect it to pc then you click Start Flash Click Yes  and then you wait for the tool to flash. Alright, so flashing is completed and you can disconnect and boot up. So that's how to flash your Motorola Android device using Hydra dongle main module.
