this issue on their Tecno devices after flashing one
ROM or another; something i call the 'Custom ROM
fever'. This issue is mostly caused by wiping /
corruption of the data partition. The Baseband and
radio (for network signal) are controlled by the
NVRAM (located in data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_
IMEI) and a file called MP0B_001.
Once this file is missing or the NVRAM partiton is
corrupted, your phone's IMEI and radio functionality
cease to exist. There are several methods to fix
this: issues. but simple and easier way without a PC
just make sure that your phone is rooted.
1. download fx explore from play store
2. install and run fx explore
3.look fot the same phone brand/model with yours eg. m3 to m3 or p5 to p5 L3 to L3.
4. grant super user access now go to Root of the good m3 copy all files in the root except folders
5. now paste it to your bricked phone and restart or restore to factory. now sim will be detected & the baseband will show . congrat
Note: the two phones must be rooted and make sure to use the same phone model for it to work fine.
