I rooted my infinix note 7 x690b successfully first time v338

then i flashed boot_ori.image and boot to unrooted system , all good.

But when i tried to root it same way again, it won't work anymore. once flash magisk_boot.img, only reboot to fastboot.

Any one can help ?

flash back stock firmware to fix your device
what else did you do from the point of flashing stock boot to the point of trying to root again?

Can I flash stock rom from another build number?

Just flash back Ur stock boot ,and unlock Ur bootloader and flash twrp and download magisk zip file and flash it through twrp

Can I flash stock rom from another build number?

If you were trying to return back to stock it should have been stock boot and vbmeta, btw did you flash these two items using fastboot or sp flash tool?

It should at least have same build e.g X690B-H691DE-Q-GL-
The date could be different
