(15-06-2021, 09:47 AM)X3non you can try the suggestion in my previous post @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-393...#pid215014 i.e using aftersales tool, when it connects, there's a section for write mac addrs, try it and see if it works for you

Whenever I try writing MAC, it says "this MAC head is not allowed". I used "80795B" as a prefix and generated the full MAC using https://miniwebtool.com/mac-address-generator/
The prefix is taken from another MTK device's MAC address of the same manufacturer.

Well, Both of the time, you did a solution of my problems via a short sentence on which I was really struggling allot! Thank you very much man, it really works. I was not paying attention towards the Head that the tool was suggesting. It was not possible without your precious and valuable guidance always! I don't have sufficient words for you at this moment!
How can I mark this thread as "Solved", so other can look for solution easily? Sorry if its an illogical question --- I don't have very much knowledge about handling forum interfaces.

the feature doesn't exist but you could always edit the OP and add a prefix or suffix with [Solved] to the title
