No, either a write to emmc as you mentioned above or replace emmc if damaged

I think the protection in meizu is different with other manufacturer.
If compared with PCs, write emmc with box or jtag is liked clone your hard drive with the ability to change the partition size. While flash, just like update or patch the existing.
If I format the memory with SP Flash Tool, then write the file with it. The mechanism in preloader will block the device to boot.
At https://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f979/me...e-2092313/, to unbricked it must be flash twice.
1st is with the engineering firmware and after that flash again with the production firmware.
And it uses additional tool, testpctool and flash tool uses the multidownload.

there's nothing referring to STATUS_INVALID_GPT error in the link in your post above, the link only refers to secure boot and without the right DA , the OP needed a different tool
