use sp flash tool and attach a full screenshot showing any error you get, also mention the two files you're referring to

have you tried flashing only boot_a alone? i.e untick the rest leaving boot_a then flash
OR what happens when you use the file for _b on _a partition? e.g select boot_b file for boot_a partition then flash
