[Tutorial] How to use LGUP to write NT CODE to LG Android
(02-05-2021, 03:10 AM)odicamillo Hi.
I am trying to write the OPEN EU NT Code in a LG G7 ThinQ LMG710EM (TIM Branded) whose original NT Code is "1","222,01F",FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,FF" because I cross flashed the original Oreo firmware with the OPEN EU version without any problem but updating now to the Android 10 OPEN EU version at every boot I get the "Warning, Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched carrier. Check NT-Code: 22201 : FF".
Unfortunately following your instructions, whatever KDZ I try, I end up with the following line in the PDM file:
NT Code Read, invaild response - "1","222,01F,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,FF". So I understand that the PDM procedure is not able to write the new NT Code.
Do you have any suggestion? What can I do to eliminate that annoying warning message?
Thank you in advance.

1. Was the firmware flashed using chiperase?
2. Can you access the hidden LG Menu https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-38874.html
(03-05-2021, 12:37 AM)odicamillo Thank you for you reply.
1. Not at all. I always used the "refurbish" or "update" options to write the kdz. More recently I tried the PDM process following your instructions.
2. Yes, I can. I also tried to write the OPEN EU NT Code in the Service menù but also in this case I get a "NTCode write error".

are you able to write anything else other than nt code using the pdm feature?
try flashing using chiperase then retry using the pdm function again
(04-05-2021, 01:15 AM)odicamillo When I use the PDM process all the other data seem to be written (or rewritten) without errors.
You mean that I have to use chiperase instead of refurbish/update to write a kdz?
Should I backup with a dump all the current firmware?
Thanks.
(28-04-2021, 11:41 AM)X3nonHi bro(28-04-2021, 02:59 AM)thainhattam If it has the option to fix the serial number (S / N) that's fine
it doesn't, to fix s/n you'll need an external tool for sending at commands e.g putty, terminal or dc unlocker
(06-05-2021, 01:55 PM)thainhattam Hi bro
Can you send me a txt file containing these AT commands, how can I generate it, thanks

Its always a good idea to backup if you can
(08-05-2021, 06:14 PM)odicamillo I tried to use the dump process but I get the following error also when I select just one partition to dump:
"Error:0x80000119, unlock failed for dump limitation".
So I am not able to do a proper backup and now I hesitate to use the chiperase process...
Any suggestion?
Thank you.
