Hi,

I am trying to root Nokia 1 but I am having issues.

Specification of the device is as:

Model: TA-1047

Serial: FRTBA80314746200

OS: Android 10

Dual SIM

What I have tried:

Step 1: Unlocked bootloader

Step 2: Downloaded TWRP Recovery image TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-frt-2018-11-20_18-49.img

Step 3:

fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-frt-2018-11-20_18-49.img

target reported max download size of 134217728 bytes

sending 'recovery' (10344 KB)...

OKAY [ 0.332s]

writing 'recovery'...

OKAY [ 0.314s]

finished. total time: 0.646s

Step 4: fastboot boot TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-frt-2018-11-20_18-49

Expected Result:

It should boot into the TWRP recovery image but it lands me to the stock ROM and boots the system. What I am missing? Any pointer will be helpful.

Thanks.

magisk will do this for you, you only need to patch boot

magisk will do this for you, you only need to patch boot

I have performed the required steps i.e., used the magisk_patched_boot.img file to boot but It lands me to the already installed image instead of rooted. Anything I am missing?

What I am expecting that after Magisk Patched Boot image, I should be able to either install supersu or su already installed i.e., I should be in the rooted mode. Isn't it? or I am missing something?

if it's indicated in magisk manager dashboard that magisk is installed then yes

if it's indicated in magisk manager dashboard that magisk is installed then yes

I have executed following command:

fastboot boot magisk_patched_boot.img

and after booting I have performed following operation:

adb shell
su

but I get the error:

su is inaccessible or not found

and Magisk Manager shows, App is not installed after executing fastboot boot operation.
