I tried to flash Asus B3-A40 but I can not flash system image file from the firmware package.
There are files named: system.new.dat, system.patch and system.transfer.list but none is flashed eventhough I choose system to be flashed.

Is it possible to ONLY rename system.new.dat file( from firmware package) to system.img name so that the file name in the firmware package is the same as that file name in the scatter file description?
Or which file from firmware package to use ( system.new.dat or system.patch or system.transfer.list or any other) ?

you can convert system.new.dat to system.img using sdat2img @ https://github.com/xpirt/sdat2img

Thank you for your reply.
Questions;
1. Is there any software that can flash directly system.new.dat file without converting into img file?
2. And what is system.patch file for?Is it also necessary to convert?
Thank you again for help
