I forgot my mi account password, I formatted my phone to resell only to stucked at "this device is locked". I have tried every possible means. Below are some of the steps I took;
- I downloaded stock rom, replaced the firehose file with patched 1,so I can flash with mi flash. I get edl authentication fail error,you are not authorized to download
- I have used qfil too, I get error download fail:fhloader fail:process fail.

all errors indicated wrong firehose file, you need an authorized account to flash
not sure where you got the said patched firehose or how you confirmed it works for your model but it clearly doesn't work
another red flag is that redmi 7 uses sdm632 and not msm8953 as indicated in the firehose from qfil screenshot

I got the firehose file from the internet. Please is there a way to help me get it's own firehose. It's redmi 7 global version. I have the imei if you will needing it. Thanks

firehose for this model is not available, if you must flash then you need an authorized account as i mentioned earlier. you can search online for this or someone providing the service

see the description in the video, starting from where it reads "Catatan:", you can translate the text to English
while the OP shared the the file free, the procedure really isn't

I followed the guy procedure from a-z & even downloaded all the files he used after translating the language. Went to his Instagram page to get some files even. All still says edl failed.

we don't provide authorized mi account service, you'll need to keep searching

no need of retrying, without the right account you can't flash the device

Thanks, but I thought the likes of miracle & others that have boxes for writing firmware could do that?
