any userdata backup you make will be useless due to encryption
instead if your device got bricked by overwriting a particular partition, then reflash the partition with files for the exact firmware build number currently running on the phone and hope the phone boots up normally
download firehose @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-36741.html
search online for edl points for your model and flash using qfil or any other qualcomm flash tool

Which partition will get affected or get courrepted if changes made to the display cutout option in developer mode , because i accidentally set the default display cutout to "double coutout" in developer option. and that's the root cause for my phone to go boot loop. NOTE: most of the xiaomi phone go to bootloop after changing the default display cutout option in developer mode.

userdata, settings are stored there

the reddit link does mentioned possible fixes for you though, if you can get adb shell to work then see the post @ https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/remov...t-74340625 for how to disable overlays using adb

Run the adb shell command again and accept the authorization prompt on your phone
