How to root infinix hot 7 pro x625c?

I can't seem to root my infinix hot 7 pro x625c. I have tried several methods like:
1) One click root softwares for phone and PC. E.g. kingroot, kingoroot, iroot.
2) Flashing Magisk patched boot.img with fastboot. I got the boot.img from https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-27959.html
After successfully flashing boot.img, it boots successfully to homescreen. But still I don't have root access. Please what else can I do? What have I not done? Or what have I done wrong?
I can't use my phone without rooting it.
Note: My boot loader is currently unlocked. How do I know?
On booting, it displays the message "Orange state. your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted. your device will boot in 5 seconds"
