[Solved] Teclast p20hd brick

Hello

I've bricked my p20hd tablet

How:
- unlocked the bootloader and successful Magisk-root
- Flashed the wrong twrp recovery img (correctly signed but for a different device)

How it shows:
- it displays the boot logo (Teclast logo) and it's written INFO: LOCK FLAG IS: UNLOCK !!!
- after pressing any key it returns there
- after battery runs out, and I connect it to a charger, it returns to the same screen

What I've tried to solve it:
-Pressed all possible key combinations (power+volume down, power, reset-key)
-SPD Research Download tool, installed all windows SPD drivers -> tablet not found
- no fastboot, no adb possible

EDIT: I'm on Linux (windows in virtualbox) and I've tried to monitor my usb port if the device gets detected somehow

monitor will print the received events for:

KERNEL - the kernel uevent

(plugging it in)

So there could be a chance, right?

UPDATE

installed https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AI...ion=locate

Now it's being detected but it show "Incompatible partition" while flashing
I've tried to flash the img signed with my own key and the one from the pac file.
Flashing FLD1 and FDL2 only works (it shows a green passed) but not with another partition..

Flashing the recovery from the pac file and ticking 'Repartition' did work Smile

Fixed.

Help please :/

Got this same problem now! but no output on udevadm monitor, what can I do?

Do you run Linux on your main machine? If you run it in a virtualbox, you have to select it like this ->

Yeah simply by patching the stock boot img using the Magisk Manager app.

All other stuff is explained on this forum (like unlocking the bootloader, signing vbmeta etc)

It's good to hear you've had success!

I've got this tablet on order and was planning ahead. Threads I've read, seem to have poor success.

A little worrying as I'm not overly familiar with ADB/Linux etc.

Just to also ask. Have you managed to find or create a suitable twrp image? Any other issues I should consider when I get my tablet?
