I've use mtk auto recovery porter V1.6 to Port a recovery for htc desire 19+ android pie device but the recovery is not booting always end in fastboot mode.
I manually Port the recovery and also end up unable to mount storage.
Please can someone help me..

get the right mount points for your device using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-11203.html
then fix the twrp mount points in /ramdisk/etc/recovery.fstab
