hi hovatek i unlocked the bootloader of my tecno kc8 but when i flash the patched_boot.img it shows no sign of root

did you flash empty vbmeta before flashing patched_boot?
if yes, then either try magisk canary @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGLWoJ-POlA OR patch recovery using magisk and attempt to get root as explained @ https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-gain...rk-go-kc1/

you must have done something else after flashing empty vbmeta or maybe you didn't flash empty vbmeta
