nvdata has nothing to do with powering on a device
how did you attempt to flash this twrp? what tool was used?
was the flashing attempt successful or not?
have you tried disconnecting / reconnecting the battery of the device?

wait a day or two, hopefully it helps remove the device from flash mode then retry flashing stock firmware @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-29893.html
when flashing, ensure that you include the custom DA for your model @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23339.html
(27-10-2020, 05:27 PM)okoye.innocent56 please what do you mean by ''remove your device from fast mode?''
(27-10-2020, 05:27 PM)okoye.innocent56 I have all the correct flash files for my hot 8 and I have successfully flashed it before....It's just that it refuses to power on or charge now...
(27-10-2020, 05:27 PM)okoye.innocent56 Am really worried will it show battery percentage if I keep on charging it??

you mentioned that "I tried flashing the stock ROM but it didn't complete from then the phone refuses to charge"
you should see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-808.html

this doesn't correspond with a section of your previous post that i quoted above
either way, if you flashed the firmware you have successfully, can you confirm that this firmware you flashed has the exact same build number as the phone before you flashed?

that depends, i'll take it that you flashed the firmware successfully, if yes and the build number of the firmware matches the build previously on the phone before flashing, then yes. after some time you should see the charging sign
if the build number differs, then it's very possible you might have flashed an incompatible firmware and seeing as it's not humanly possible to tell how long you need to charge, it's best you disassemble the back and disconnect / reconnect the battery. help confirm if the device is stuck in flash mode or you flashed the wrong firmware (i.e assuming you are not sure of the build number you flashed)
