Hi, I'm having dome problems with fastboot on my Ulefone Note 7 running stock Android 9 Go. Everytime the phone goes into fastboot mode it completely freezes, I can't turn it off and the battery is not removable. Once the battery runs out it boots up normally. When it's booted up adb will recognise it, but as soon as it boots into fastboot it is not recognised.

I have installed and reinstalled the drivers.

I have tried going into fastboot, disconnecting and reconnecting then installing the android bootloader interface driver.

I have tried fastboot and ADB on Linux.

I have reflashed the stock ROM using SP flash tool.

OEM boot unlock is switched on, and USB debugging is on.

I don't know what to try next.

TIA

when the device is in fastboot mode, check device manager on the pc
is the device detected properly?

Yes, the PC detects it in device manager and plays the notification sound (in Windows) when USB is connected

powershell runs adb from PATH ie c:\adb regardless of the current directory powershell is running from
use command prompt rather than powershell while in platform tools directory
OR
copy the contents of platform tools zip into c:\adb folder then you can use powershell from anywhere
