hello, im trying to get twrp working on my zte k81. i have a modified port that boots but doesn't have permission to access most of the devices folders. there was a symlink mounting issue that my friend appears to have solved but the permission denied errors make me think that some mounting issues are persisting. recoveries built from source are also not working, they dont even boot

provide screenshots showing the error message you encounter while using this twrp

this error is likely cause there's no mount point such as /firmware on your device
extract both your stock recovery and the twrp using android image kitchen (you will find link for this @ xda forums)
edit /ramdisk/etc/*.fstab
ensure that the mount points in twrp's fstab correspond with those in your stock recovery
repack the twrp and flash
tried the auto twrp porter too, nothing but bootloops. here is the twrp build that boots but doesnt have full functionality:

check and edit the file init.rc
search for : mkdir /firmware
if it exists you can delete the line
for the fstabs, manually edit twrp's fstab and include the partitions indicated within stock recovery's fstab (ensure you retain twrp's fstab format and delete the lines of partitions that don't exist within stock's fstab)
e.g for including aboot
