Hello
I have a Infinix Note 5 that won't turn on when the power button is pressed, it does not vibrate when I press the power button, it doesn't show anything on display.
When I connect the charger only the LED indicator light is shown blue. I have tried flashing the stock rom of Oreo couldn't find the rom of build version I was using with SP Flash Tool and SoftwareDownload tool the rom flashes successfully the device is detected as MTK Preloader USB COM7 but the device won't turn on. Please help
Attached a screenshot of the rom version I was using when the device was working
Thank you

Try disconnecting/reconnecting the phone’s battery then plug it to charge for few hours before power on.

The phone fell in water In 2019 actually so it's dry already I got it checked in service center they told me they will repair the phone if I pay them a huge amount of money so instead I bought a new phone.

I removed the back cover, disconnected, reconnected the phone’s battery and plugged in charge for few hours then I tried to power on the device but it didn't work.

That its dry doesn't mean some components weren't already damaged by water.
You should have the board looked at by an expert

I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that.
I have got it checked by experts and service center carlcare. One expert told me it's LCD is dead and needs to be replaced so I told them to replace the LCD but they weren't able to find a LCD for this device. The other expert in carlcare said to me just by checking the device that if can't boot - it's motherboard needs to be replaced. I took the phone to carlcare two times for once they told me to pay this much amount to money to fix the phone(didn't say what part need to be replaced) I didn't agree, the second time he said the motherboard needs to be replaced. I didn't proceed with their offer of money to fix my device so instead I brought my phone home and bought a new phone at that time. Now I tried to fix the phone myself by flashing the stock Oreo firmware which was done successfully but it couldn't boot ofcource it's a hardware problem it's either dead motherboard or LCD dead or the battery.
Thanks for moving thread in right section.
