Please help on how to Root Tecno K8 successfully? I have tried every step I found online but nothing work.

I even patched the recovery.img instead of boot.img following this thread https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-gain...rk-go-kc1/ but ended up in a boot loop. I used the exact firmware recovery.img. I also disable dm-verity or Android Verified Boot (AVB) through Magisk before flashing it with ADB still not work. 

Please is there another method that works? disable dm-verity or Android Verified Boot (AVB)

you are to disable dm_verity by flashing an empty vbmeta first before flashing any custom image to avoid bricking ; refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32719.html
then try either patching boot using magisk manager OR patch boot using magisk canary. one should work for you

Thanks, I disabled the dm-verity using method two from the link you provided. I then proceeded with patching and flashing the recovery.img for rooting using this method here: https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-gain...rk-go-kc1/ and still ended in a bootloop again.

Have you tried factory reset after flashing patched?

I can't do factory reset cuz I ended up in a bootloop after flashing recovery.img

Please do you mean after I disable dm_verify. I should proceed with the Rooting by patching the boot using magisk manager or magisk canary? I'm confused ? Please elaborate more on this. And if yes, how do I patch the boot with Magisk after I have recently patched and flash it to disable the dm_verify

I used the second method (Patching boot.img using magisk manager) from this thread https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32719.html to disable the dm_verify.

boot the phone to homescreen and ensure it can boot properly
then either patch boot using magisk manager @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html OR patch boot using magisk canary @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGLWoJ-POlA
then boot to homescreen and confirm if the device has root

If still no root by patching boot then patch recovery as explained in the KC1 blog post
