I have Alcatel 5 android 7 32gb 3gb ram phone but i can't enter fastboot either from stock recovery or using the power and volume keys . I have been trying to root the phone with no luck, the best I got was a temporary root which only gives me limited access to certain features but I can flash a recovery or make changes to the system of the phone urgent help needed

have you tried doing so using adb?

have you tried writing magisk patched_boot using adb dd?
or flashing twrp then flashing supersu or magisk zip usng twrp?
